Grant for legal costs relating to Energy Hubs 2026

This involves deploying additional resources, such as appointing a hub manager, carrying out feasibility studies or technical studies, or drawing up a business plan. This depends on the stage the initiative is at.

Who is it for?

• Businesses.
• Local authorities (on behalf of a consortium, in the first phase).

What is it for?

By using energy more efficiently and, for example, opting for different types of energy, more capacity is created on the electricity grid. This is achieved through effective coordination.

Businesses can work together to manage their energy (such as generating, storing or using it) on industrial estates or within buildings. We call this energy management. This often takes place in what are known as energy hubs.

The grant is intended to make business parks more sustainable. This will create more scope for their growth or expansion. It will also enable business parks to take steps towards a future in which they can manage their own energy more effectively and become more self-sufficient.

Term

From 1 June 2026 up to and including 31 December 2026. The Province of Limburg must receive the application by 30 November 2026 at the latest.
