Farmers-Citizens Initiatives Grant 2026
The large-scale transition that the agricultural sector is set to undergo in the coming period calls for mutual understanding between farmers and the public/consumers. The Province of Limburg wishes to support initiatives that help bring farmers and the public together to showcase the craftsmanship of agriculture and horticulture in all its facets.
This report focuses specifically on how a company or sector is managing the transition to a more sustainable way of producing. When consumers gain direct insight into the process of sustainable production and the challenges faced by farmers, it fosters greater understanding and respect for the efforts being made. Farmers, too, benefit from understanding the concerns of the public and consumers.
Who is it for?
Only legal entities (such as private limited companies, public limited companies, foundations and associations, local authorities or other public bodies, etc.), sole traders, partnerships or companies are eligible for a grant.
