The Limburg Agricultural and Horticultural Association (LLTB) operates at the intersection between agricultural entrepreneurs and society. The agricultural sector is increasingly taking into account society’s expectations in areas such as animal welfare, hygiene, fertilizers, healthy and safe food, working conditions, and landscape management. To function effectively, agricultural entrepreneurs must be aware of their role in society. On the one hand, they must meet society’s expectations of them; on the other hand, society must also understand what motivates them. The association supports its members in good entrepreneurship and, at the same time, serves as an authoritative voice that continues to emphasize and substantiate the broader societal importance of Limburg’s agriculture and horticulture.
